Dhu-Dickie and his family travelled to Adelaide alongside a small contingent of Spinifex Hill Artists to represent the art centre at Tarnanthi 2019.

Layne starred in the contemporary exhibition held at Art Gallery of South Australia alongside Spinifex Hill Artists, Nyaparu William Gardiner. The original drawings to Layne’s, Captain Hedland vs. The Fisherman lined the wall for viewers to closely inspect and read. Layne and his family were met by the paparazzo and Daniel was lucky enough to score an interview with the rising young star for his Radio National program, Awaye.

Layne was more then happy to sign copies of his comic for his fans at the Tarnanthi Art Fair.
