Outside Men was a solo exhibition featuring 21 paintings and works on paper by the late Nyaparu (William) Gardiner. This exhibition explored the 1946 Pilbara Strike, the characters of this period, and the displaced men William knew as a boy. Gardiner was one of Spinifex Hill Studios most successful, prolific, and respected artists.
