Born Strong: an international female group exhibition by Doreen Chapman, Gloria, and Nyangulya Katie Nalgood at Harvey Arts Project, Ketchum, Idaho, USA.

New acrylic paintings by Doreen Chapman, Gloria, and Nyangulya Katie Nalgood, represented the work of the Spinifex Hill Artists, appearing for the first time in the United States. 

Bright and lively colors dominated this exhibition. Nalgood’s representational paintings celebrate and document birds of Western Australia, Chapman, a deaf artist, uses abstract patterns to tell stories of flora and fauna, and Gloria’s large-scale paintings rejoice in pastel colors with a gestural brush style and an abstract approach.
