“My name is Sally Mack Captain. I'm a Kariyarra elder. I born in Onslow. I grew up in Port Hedland at the old Two-mile reserve. Stay there with my parents, my Grandmother, Grandfather. Went to school in Port Hedland. Stayed here since I was five or six years old with my brother. White fella took us away from here since I was six, they sent us to Marble Bar Hostel. Stayed there until I turned thirteen. We didn't know what Christmas and New Years was. Came back to Hedland for school. I work secretary job. I started painting this year.
